On Tuesday, February 28th, fourteen Anthony WayneFFA members competed in the District 1 agriscience fair at Clay High School. Members wrote a technical paper about their chosen topic and created a poster board that they presented to judges. Madelynn Mangold placed 1st in the Plant Systems division. Kelsey Arquette placed 2nd in the Social Systems division. Marleigh Kerr and Camryn Buskey placed 1st and Nicole McMullen placed 2nd in the Food Science Systems division. Many of the other participants did exceptionally well, and most of them will be moving on to the state level to hopefully compete at the Ohio State FFA Convention in May! One of the senior participants, Kelsey Arquette, said “This was my second year participating and I enjoyed seeing all of the new members who have taken an interest in the agriscience fair.”
